Freeform Panel Stud Earrings, Recycled Whisky Bottle and Gold
These studs are special…they used to be a Scottish Whisky Bottle! They break up the bottle and melt the glass down bit by bit adding the hypoallergenic steel backs in the flame. These have a slick of gold leaf melted to the front of them.
They are called Freeform because they very much have a mind of their own; all will be panel shaped with gold but the outline, clarify and amount of metal will vary between the studs (see second photo).
Made in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages these earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a thoughtful gift to someone.
